In Which The Protagonist Starts Deleting Posts!

Ah, yes, Delete is a useful function, as any good LJer will tell you, so I've deleted this one!

I'll be taking a blogging break until late next week.

8 comments so far. What are your thoughts?

Yeah, like Jen said, you have every right to be selfish right now. I can't say I know what you're going through, but I can imagine and see through your posts that it's tough.

Kam,
I know its not easy to believe right now, but Jen is absolutely right. I've always admired your courage greatly and it is your right as a human being to be true to yourself even if that means a selfish act once in a while. You are never going to please everybody and expecting to ends up hurting everybody more in the long run. I've learned that the hard way. I can't even imagine what you have been going through the last few months but I do understand having your character attacked by those you love. We are none of us perfect and that is what makes it all real. Know that there are many people who love you dearly and are sending as many positive thoughts in your direction as they can.

All the best
Maggie

So sorry Kam that you'ree having such a bad time. HUMPT, ignore people who upset you. No one has the right to judge you until they have walked in your shoes!

Hang in there.

I'm with That Girl on the use of 'selfish' coming from others. And with Jen that the positive way of being selfish is a good thing.

A thoughtful SO once said to me: You take care of me by taking care of yourself.

And thanks for the wrning about the blog break, it means less people will panis that something's gone terribly wrong.

Yea, all of a sudden these "blogging break" posts are more than just filler.

If I don't post them, I start getting concerned calls and emails from friends and family when I go more than a day or two without blogging...
