The Day Job had me working on updating databases yesterday for 4 hours, so I'm working from home today, mainly so I can get shit done that was supposed to be done yesterday.
Also, I just acquired a bunch more books.
This makes me happy.

Hope you didn't have to go into work to update those databases, because, you know, Sunday travel is a sin.
Dude! Buying new books is like a drug. I just bought seven books last weekend, and have already read three of them. (Right now I'm in a "crime fiction" mode.)
But being unemployed (which I am) and having a Major Book Addiction (as I do) does not always compute. :-)

la gringa - oh yes, Book Addiction. To make matters worse, Jenn is an even more outrageous book horder than I am, so I'm always comparing my book-buying atrocities to hers and thinking, "Hey, compared to Jenn, I hardly buy anything!"
It's a vicious cycle.
Woo! Yay! Books! I suggest buying books from charity shops. You can buy as many as you like on the grounds that the money is going to a good cause.
