ROTFLMAO
I thought it was a documentary about Australia under the Fraser administration. No?
I'm going out on a limb here...The History Channel aired some specials about religions & their apocalypse theories during the week, so I'm guessing The Road Warrior was supposed to be an example of what an apocalyptic society would be like.
Other channels have been doing wonky stuff, too. The SciFi Channel began airing Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) last week; [adult swim]'s showing "Pee Wee's Playhouse" Monday-Thursday nights.
At this point, I'm predicting that the Weather Channel will soon buy broadcasting rights to The Day After Tomorrow & Twister.
